Edgcon Borders will send a design consultant to your home to provide a free estimate. Our knowledgeable staff will show you available stamps and mold choices, and color charts. The team member will present ideas and then work with you to decide the optimal layout for your border.
Ground Preparation
Edgcon Borders takes every step to ensure minimal disturbance to your property when installing your concrete edging. All of our equipment and materials are self-contained and you will not have any large equipment or debris on your property.
After your curbing layout and design have been determined sod will be removed from the areas where the concrete landscape edging will be installed with a professional sod cutter.
Mixing / Machine Extrusion
The concrete is mixed on-site to proper proportions with a self-contained mixer and trailer. Your customized concrete color is added in the mixing process to ensure uniform color throughout the curb. The concrete is wheeled on site, fed into our compact curb machine and extruded into attractive, continuous and distinctive concrete landscape borders.
Troweling & Stamping / Texturing
Trowels are used to smooth out any imperfections in the concrete ensuring you a clean, finished product. Stamps and rollers are used to add a wide variety of textures and patterns to your concrete landscape edging creating a distinctive, beautiful, finished look.
Sealing
Each concrete landscape curb is sealed. This allows the concrete to cure properly and ensure ultimate strength in your product as well as enhance the colors in your curb. Our sealer helps keep the color from fading, and more importantly, keeps your border strong. We can arrange to seal your border for you on a yearly basis, if you wish.
